CECS offers a master's of science in two areas of emphasis:
- Teaching and Learning with Technology
The Teaching and Learning With Technology specialization is aligned with standards published by NCATE - the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education.
- Instructional Systems Technology
The specialization in Instructional Systems Technology is designed to meet the needs of professionals in corporations, higher education, and the military.

Master's of Science/Master's of Education in Applied Technology, Training & Development
The Applied Technology, Training and Development Masters programs provides students an option of a Masters of Science degree or Masters of Education degree. The Masters of Science degree is designed for those professionals who are seeking careers in the field of training and development. Students seeking this option are advised to also earn the "Basic Corporate Training Certificate" and "Advanced Corporate Training Certificate" concurrently. The Masters of Education program is designed for people who are seeking careers in the Career and Technical education field.
