Course Requirements
(Basic Corporate Training Certificate)

The Basic Corporate Training Certificate consists of 12 hours, 4 courses. Upon completion of these courses participants will be awarded a Basic Corporate Training Certificate. These courses are offered via the Internet on a rotating basis.

Course Requirements
(Advanced Corporate Training Certificate)

Upon the satisfactory completion of the Basic Corporate Training Certificate with a GPA of 3.0, students may continue for the Advanced Corporate Training Certificate. This certificate consists of an additional 6 hours of graduate level coursework, 2 courses. Upon completion of these courses participants will be awarded an Advanced Corporate Training Certificate. These courses will be offered via the Internet on a rotating basis.

Professional Experience Requirements

Applicants must have at least a bachelor's degree and one year of approved wage-earning experience in the area of corporate training and development. Applicants must document this experience on a detailed professional resume before the certificate will be issued. For applicants who do not have one year of approved wage-earning experience, a three-credit hour internship (ATTD 6030) will be required. The internship will not be a pre-requisite requirement, but will be a requirement before the certificate will be issued.

Masters Program

All courses taken as part of the Basic and Advanced Corporate Training Certificate programs can be utilized in the Master of Science in Applied Technology, Training and Development. Participants must declare their intent to pursue a Masters of Science degree at the University of North Texas prior to taking any courses towards the Advanced Training Certificate.

Availability of Courses

All certification courses are available via the Internet. All other courses are offered one night/week (5:30 - 8:30 pm), on weekends (5 weeks/semester), or via the Internet. For additional information, contact us.
